Basic ROV Operations – Pool Training

Service Description

Students begin with a guided introduction to the fundamentals of ROV control, safety procedures, and mission planning. After a short briefing, each trainee practices hands-on piloting in a controlled 1-meter-deep pool, learning essential skills such as maintaining stability, precise maneuvering, depth control, and basic object tracking. Under the supervision of an instructor, students also learn how to manage the tether, interpret the live video feed, and execute simple recovery tasks. This session builds the foundation for confident and safe operation before progressing to open-water scenarios.
