VISOR™ is an advanced Human-Machine Interface (HMI) designed to create a fully immersive underwater piloting experience.
By combining real-time head tracking, intelligent vehicle control assistance, AI-powered target detection, and military-style situational awareness overlays, VISOR™ allows operators to interact with the underwater environment in a more natural and intuitive way.
The system continuously interprets head motion and converts it into real-time control inputs while maintaining complete operator authority through the primary joystick.

How It Works
VISOR™ operates transparently alongside traditional manual controls.
The operator remains fully in command using a standard game controller or professional ROV console, while head motion provides intuitive situational control and enhanced awareness.
Head Roll
Controls lateral vehicle movement.
Head roll left/right generates proportional strafe commands, allowing natural positioning adjustments while maintaining visual focus on the mission.
Head Yaw
Controls vehicle orientation.
Turning the head left or right generates yaw assistance commands, enabling intuitive alignment with the operator's field of view.
Head Pitch
Controls both vehicle thrust assistance and camera tilt.
Looking up or down generates pitch-related motion assistance while simultaneously driving the camera tilt servo, allowing the operator to naturally inspect structures, seabeds, and objects of interest.

Real-Time HUD Feedback
VISOR™ provides continuous visual feedback through a military-style telemetry overlay.
The HUD displays:
Head motion vectors
Thruster command intensity
Head-to-thrust ratio
Camera tilt angle
AI target tracking information
Navigation and vehicle status
This real-time feedback enables operators to understand exactly how head movement influences vehicle behaviour while maintaining maximum situational awareness.
